MEMORIES!

Memory Lane...I got this from a friend's blog. I thought it would be fun! I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

Ha ha, oh man... I can laugh just thinking about all the funny things we've done! We are freaking funny, thanks.

For sure one of the funniest was when we went to Gateway with Camille, and she was not thinking we were funny at all! At the Victoria Secret girl was so confused going, "Can I help you? Can I help you?" And we we were like, "What? Leave us alone!"

Then when we crashed the Veeno. And Jen Wojtech drove up, and we were both so hurt that we were like, "What are you doing? We can't talk to you right now!" I was so rude to her! I felt so bad!

How about when we went to Wendover for your birthday and we couldn't find our room, and I seriously almost pissed my pants in the middle of the hallway. Or when we went to Wendover alone on Wednesday night... scary!

I could sit here and go on all day! I totally love you so much, and I have so much fun whenever you are around. I love that I have you and that we have been through so much together. It's awesome! You are totally the sister I never had too, and I love it!

Oh Keelee! I have many fond memories of you. I remember in beauty school, sitting in front of the mirror, rolling the front of our hair into those little rolls and then ratting (I mean, backcombing) the back up as huge as possible. I also remember you always having some kind of drink in your hand...not a stiff drink, just a water or big gulp!!
I miss you Keelee!!

For some reason alot of my memories involve video cameras. One night me, you, and camille dressed up and made a music video to the Dixie Chicks Cowboy take me away! I bet my parents still have it. We really should get together and watch all these crazy videos!

Where do I start with all of the amazing memories that I have with you?! Dancing in your room in front of a video camera with costumes on listening to No Doubt, talking to boys we didn't know in fast food lines, Lake Powell with my buddy Yogi, Newport, eating at strange places, dying my hair every color under the sun, your moms pasta salad, gorp, just hanging out and loving eachother! I could go on and on, and I'm greatful for this post because it has made me think and remember the greatest times! My most favorite memories have you in them!

Ps, you are not out of the loop, in fact we just found this out last night! I am trying my ardest to be excited to go, but it wil be a hard move for me. I am going to miss you so much Kee!

How about starting with Mr. Oblads class and getting the dry eraser thrown at us for talking too much? Or cruisin around in your VW Golf? Or making Debbie cry in Cosmetology, that wasn't us that actually made her cry though...was it? Oh the memories, and I know there are ALOT more but I will blame it on having kids that I can't recall them right when I want! Oh well, there's a few for ya anyway! Love you and I'm so glad we're back in touch!!!

You know Keelee, as I was thinking about memories, the ones that come to mind are all at your house with your mom. I am sure this is supposed to be fun and crazy, but mine will be sentimental. I always remember thinking that you had the coolest, most beautiful mom ever (of course mine is great too!) She always wanted to be involved in the girl talk when we were at your house, I am sure at the time in 9th grade, it wasn't so cool to you, but I loved it! Also, you have the best hair ever...I'm jealous! And there are too many blonde moments to write on paper, I miss seeing you all the time!

My memory involves some needed repentance :). I remember one day I was playing with Angelica and she told me she had to leave because she was going to your surprise b-day party. I can't remember how old we were. Angelica left to go to your house, and then I saw you and your brother walking to Phillips to get some candy and I blurted out that Angelica was at your house for your b-day party. I totally forgot that it was a surprise! I was wondering why your brother gave me a dirty look, and why you looked so excited... Then I remembered that I had totally ruined the surprise and I felt soooo bad! I'm sorry I ruined the surprise! I'm sure the party was still fun though :). I know I have other memories of you, but that's the first one to pop in my head. So I guess I just had to get that off my chest and say "I'm SORRY"! :) Aren't childhood memories fun :D.

A lot of my memories are when we were seniors and on Seminary Council. I remember you cutting one of the seminary teacher's hair in the girl's bathroom. Remember working at Video II with the polygamist that wanted to hook us up with her brother? My favorite is going to the Sweethearts dance stag with each other. That was such a fun year.

Okay Keelee! I have a lot of memories with you, but the one that stands out is when we went to St George your junior year and my senior year. We were trying to decide if we wanted to get our belly buttons pierced. My favorite memories were when we would have some pretty good talks about life. I miss you and hopefully we can get together soon. You look great and I am so glad you are happy!
Love ya! Melissa Leeflang (Bartholomew)

I have many memories of you, but Lake Powell has to be the most memorable. You seemed so much younger than me then and I'm just realizing that I am sooooo old now!

I think you will always remind me of your mom and keep her memory alive... you look so much like her and are so energetic like her! Can that count as well?!

I remember when you took me to Lake Powell, I had such a fun time. Then another memorie was we were having a sleepover at Jodie Bennett's (I think that is her name) and you were pretending to be a bear why you were sleeping. I know it is a wierd one but that was one of the first memories I had.

A lot of my memories are from Senior year and the summer after Freshman year! Where to start? I loved all the times we went dancing-we were pretty hot! Sem council was a blast, making videos and planning good times. I remember you always did great things with my hair, and it meant a lot to me that you were the one that did my hair for my wedding! I miss you and we need to get together now that I am in Salt Lake!

You cut Nate's and I's hair and people always ask who cuts our hair, thus you get all of Nate's families business.

I can't necessarily pinpoint one favorite memory. I just remember that you were always SO nice. I don't ever remember you being mean at all. It's rare to find a beautiful girl who is also nice!
